King Gustav III Crystal Decanter & Glasses, set of 7 - Sweden, 2nd qtr. 20th century
King Gustav III crystal decanter and set of six glasses from the Hovmantory Glasbruk. Hovmantorp Glasbruk began in 1860 and the factory burned down in 1878. After rebuilding in 1905, it continued producing exquisite glass until 1978. This unused set is from the 1930's and the Hovmantory Glasburk label remains on several pieces. The decanter is 8"H x 4.5"W x 2" D and each glass is approximately 6.5"H x 2.5"D. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
